What is The Building Blocks of Quality Workshop?
The Building Blocks of Quality is a two-day workshop delivered inside your facility that covers the 7 basic building blocks of any sound quality system. Product Process Planning, Associate Influence Guidelines, Poka Yoke Validation, Tiered Audits, Non-conforming Product, Daily Quality Communication, and Lessons Learned.
What Will You Learn About the 7 Basic Building Blocks? You will learn how to successfully implement a quality system that embraces the following 7 Basic Building Blocks in order to ensure for risk reduction, improved response to quality issues, increased control of over non-conforming product, and continuous quality improvement.

Product Process Planning. You will learn how to implement a cross-functional, action planning method for 3 critical documents: Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan.

Associate Influence Guidelines. You will learn how to implement a system of consistent comprehensive training and standardized work, including the components of work instructions and visual process flow.

Poka Yoke Validation . You will learn how to implement a process of effectively validating your error proofing and error detection devices along with your reaction plans.

Non-conforming Product . You will learn how to improve control of non-conforming product through the implementation of a color-coded visual management system and documentation process.

Layered Audits. You will learn how to create a disciplined method of process review and documentation that will engage all levels of your organization.

Data Quality Communication. You will learn a method of effective identification of and response to internal and external quality concerns.

Lessons Learned. You will learn how to create an effective system to capture and apply lessons learned.
