Launch Quality Protection (LQP) is Product Action's unique approach that adds additional launch quality insurance to your own company's APQP process. Our program is built around three key elements that are critical to delivering products that satisfy customers. Our quality engineers have led many APQP cross functional teams across different companies, and provide a wealth of experience and practical know how in organizing and managing new product launch teams. Product Action's unique approach integrates together the following key elements for a successful launch:
- Supplier Readiness - Conduct regular on site supplier reviews of both product and process development progress. Providing supplier training on launch requirements for quality, delivery, timing, and fast response issue resolution. Setting up incoming parts inspection verification during each successive phase on the program.
- Launch Plan Management - Identify and manage program critical path tasks to ensure completion on time and within budget. Utilize effective deployment of Program Management tools such as Design Reviews, FMEA, Process Control Planning, Error Proofing, Process Validation, and more. Ensure successful customer approval of PPAP submissions and a smooth launch.
- Early Production Containment - Set-up containment process to inspect all key product characteristics during early production until acceptable process capability is established. Review in process and customer feedback issues to update and improve Process Flow, FMEA, and Control Plan. Incorporate fast response problem solving to contain issue and prevent re-occurrence.
