Tool Move Quality Management (TMQ)
Product Action provides an on site, highly qualified quality engineer to manage the tool & equipment move at both the current and the new plant locations. Our engineers will work closely with your own plant teams to ensure a well coordinated and smooth transition of the production line, ensuring no customer parts flow disruption, and keeping the project within budget and on time. Product Action can also provide on site inspection services to ensure quality parts flow during the always challenging period of start up of a re-located production line and tools. Our unique tool move quality management program includes:
- Project Management - Our experienced quality engineer will establish a detailed work plan with critical path tasks, responsibilities, and timeline that integrate into the customers overall project plan. The quality engineer will ensure that the tasks in the work plan are completed on time and verified as meeting requirements. Regular progress reporting will be provided to the customer.
- Documentation - A project book will be assembled and maintained throughout the project, including project plan, tool, equipment, gage lists, shipping & receiving documents, design drawings/specs, parts numbers and inventories, packaging and labeling requirements, customer specific documents, and more.
- PPAP (new location) - Complete all the necessary steps, including sample part inspection, quality system documentation, and production run capability studies, to submit the Part Submission Warrant (PSW) to the customer for PPAP approval.
